If you are looking for a spiritual, meaningful and uplifting experience for the High Holy Days then TBZ may be the right place for you. Whether you are a long time TBZ member or joining us for the first time, we are sure you will feel welcome and comfortable in our sanctuary and will enjoy our services. We are a relaxed, warm and welcoming congregation.
Our services include time for meditation, lay participation and as usual, a great deal of singing. TBZ has its own Makzor (High Holy Days prayer book) created collaboratively by Reb Moshe Waldoks and several TBZ members. This allows us to include poems, reflections, meditations and teaching alongside the Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur liturgy. Almost all the liturgy has transliterations and translations for those who do not read Hebrew.
We have volunteer TBZ member ushers at each service to guide you to a place to sit and direct you to restrooms, coatrooms and babysitting locations. Children are welcome, and we have children’s services.
